Getting Started
Step 1
Take a walk right in the front door. Ringing phones are great and we welcome the info calls, but were not salespeople. Trainers train, and we want to meet you face-to-face. You won't be working out over the phone or computer, right? But, alas, if you must...call (937-552-7694) or email us.
Step 2Start your PCF journey out right. Enroll in our beginners course. This course is dedicated solely to those unfamiliar with CrossFit, athletic training stimulus, their own body movement, or fitness in general. Anyone can join at anytime.
Over the course of six sessions you will partner with some of the highest quality trainers to learn the building blocks of CrossFit. These classes are a pre-requisite for Unlimited CrossFit Class training, and are intended to give you a solid foundation to begin CrossFitting on any level.
*Testing out of this foundational course is an option we can discuss when you register.
Step 3
After graduating from your Learner's course, you may be given the go-ahead to begin training with the CrossFit Classes. You will still adjust every workout to address your individual capabilities, but have a much better grasp of the CrossFit program and the PCF class environment. However, if at any time you feel you are in need of another foundations training session, you're welcome to complete it again. Simply talk with your trainer.
In the event that either you or your trainer are uncomfortable about moving on to regular CrossFit classes, more small group or one-on-one training will be recommended. This will help to ensure you've mastered the CrossFit "basics" of form and movement well enough to safely participate in more advanced workouts.
Step 4
Typically, by this point you will begin participating in regular CrossFit classes. PCF prescribes 4-5 sessions per week after you have been formally introduced into the program.
Show up on time, bring your spirit, and leave all the daily bullshit behind. This is all for you, and everyone doing it with you is like your extended family. Deep down we all want to win, but even more we want to see others succeed at life, health and fitness. If you haven't gotten the gist by now, refer to step one and turn off your damn computer.
