Ask Yourself...

  IMG_7388
 Cindy and Doug...

"Quick Sand Has No Sense Of Humor."

Slow down. Stop chattering away for no reason. Stop occupying silence with ignorance. Stop creating stuff to avoid things. Stop. Instead of thinking about everything that was or could be, take a breath and ask yourself...

Am I having fun...

Are my friends really trying to hurt me, or am I far too sensitive...

Is it hurting someone else for me to stay angry at them, or is it hurting me....

Do numbers on a scale really matter if I'm happier with the reflection in the mirror...

Can I pick up more weight than yesterday...

Do I only wear my shoes, and no-one else's, or even none at all...

Do my feet travel past desserts now, instead of to desserts....

Do I handle my life, as opposed to being handled by life...

Is it me that "they" like, or the version I show...is it even me that "I" like...

Is it possible not to just do everything on the list, but to erase things that don't need to be on the list at all...

When all. When every. When. When "it" happens. When you're looking at the wrong things. When you're reading into things too much. When you know it's going well but you seem to still be in limbo. When you think it couldn't get any worse. When you're tired of asking the wrong question. Ask yourself....

Thanks, Mitchell.
First off, I am SO thankful to all of those faithful loyal Practice members that came this morning to the 5am.
Without your leadership I'm sure it could have been sketchy this morning. But, all the new people can stop for a second and watch You and see what great form and intensity should look like. I can't say how awesome that is, enough!
Secondly, never be timid in helping give some direction. All of you that have been coming over six months have the knowledge to correct or give insight that is greatly needed and helpful. I LOVE to see you stop to help out someone else or correct them to help them get it. It speaks volumes for the "pay it forward" community that we want to be seeping out of the doors at Practice Crossfit.
Ok...Newbies I hope you are able to read this. If any of you know Heather or Brandi or Jim tell them to get on the comments and log what happened to today!!LOL even if they aren't sure what to call it:)
Great job listening and following today you guys. I think it was the ball toss against the wall that got us alert and responding quickly this morning! :) (Maybe:) I look forward to seeing you again. Hopefully Wednesday at 5am.
ALRIGHT...The rest of you beautiful people. All 16 of you this morning. From the Deadlifts to the DB Snatch you guys worked and hard with minimal instruction b/c of our time. Your times still are some of the fastest on the board today AND Holly and Betsy you guys killed the sumo at 245 and 235 respectively. AND it was 5am!!:) Thanks for being such a great group!
