Welcome Mats..
Whit inside..
The first step onto a welcome mat says alot about a home. Sometimes I believe the PCF journey starts way back at the curb where folks can view the "goings on" from the street, but let's assume they actually made it inside. Is the feeling when u first enter new surroundings tension, or fear. Is it awkwardness, or loneliness. Do u feel singled out, or at home. Are u shunned or accepted. Do u feel the need to prove something, or do u feel the need to learn.
I like to think PCF makes everyone, everyday feel uncomfortable with being comfortable. The way to change the world is not by conforming to it....but by changing the way others think. U should feel welcome today, and from your first time into PCF, and I truly hope everyone did and still does, but u should still b anxious before every workout. This is how results are born. This is how health is achieved. It should b common place for one to fall on the ground after a workout writhing in success. It should be just another day in the office to hear folks screaming time as they nearly slip on their own puddle of sweat. It should not surprise anyone to know that some will just never CrossFit, but that everyone could benefit from it.
Today, if your in a place that allows u to go at your own pace. If your in a facility that is more interested in flowers in the entry way as opposed to chalk in the bucket. If u have become so damn delusional over the years of horrible treatment to your body that u have somehow tricked your self into believing you were born this way, and u can't change the hand u were dealt....bullshit. Step the hell outta your comfort zone, and go somewhere where discomfort is celebrated. Hate us all u like for telling the truth, but somethings aren't ok, and I would rather piss some folks off so bad they get motivated to at least do something, instead of wishing I had been more honest at their funeral....if this struck a nerve...ur welcome.

JB & Ryan, you have always "told it like it was" and I think we all need to hear it, like it or not. None of us do Crossfit to be pampered; we do it for the results....for the intensity....what a RUSH! When you're done, you feel like you've done something. And, when I first walked into Practice, I got the feeling of belonging; I felt welcomed and a part of something. I still feel that way. Thank you.

BS for me (booty leanin' for show)- 155#(PR)
4RNDS--missed #5 by one f#%*@ KB swing. The doorway profanities that followed were likely a nice bit of final PR for the old PCF. Sorry
